Opening Celebration
of the temporary library

Also known as the Blue River Library

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held at 1pm at the Upper McKenzie Community Center
54745 McKenzie River Drive in Rainbow.

Volunteers served light refreshments. There were free gift bags for children and a treasure hunt for all.

Visitors toured the new library, learning there is wifi, computers and printers available. Patrons were able to start checking out books, DVDs and audio tapes. Many enjoyed the free books offered.

Regular library hours will be:
Monday and Wednesday 1pm - 3pm
Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am - Noon
Currently closed on Tuesday and Sunday.

A Children's Story Time will be held on Thursdays at 10:30am. This is designed for children ages birth to preschool age. (We ask that children be accompanied by parent or caregiver).
